DSC05363 to organise a four day art camp where artists from all over the nation painted their expression about women status and atrocities they face on their canvases!
Inaugrated by Union Minister Pradeep Jain the event kickstarted on 19th Dec .
A panel discussion was organised to close the event where stalwarts like Padamshri,padmabhushan Uma sharmaji ,Justice Sudha mishraji,Shamina shafiq and Hemlata Kheria from the National commission of Women and many more successful women shared their view about Justice for women .Ex Finance Minister of Punjab,Mr MP Singla put forth a fresh perspective to the status of women in India .
Media personalities,journalists and artists got together for this cause .
It was our initiative for social awareness about women status in modern India .Alcohn international school was generous to provide us with the venue .

ADIEU to Ambassador Salman Bashir

IMG_1204Ougoing Ambassador Salman Bashir and his beautiful wife Tarannum were given a farewell party at the pakistan High Commission .The evening saw many bigwigs of the Indian circuit enjoying Qawali by Rizwan and Muzzam Ali Khan . Mr.Ram Jethmalani,Hansraj Hans,Uma Vasudev ,Uma Sharma and Ratan Kaul were some elegantly dressed guests who added charm to the farewell .Mr Shashi Tharoor made a brief appearance too.

IMG_0786The birth of the Hindu god Krishna is a big festival in India .The India International centre hosted a classical dance ,Kathak performance by Uma Sharma accompanied by Kumud dewan in the recital.It was avery well attended programme with lovers of culture who were mesmerised by the love tales of Lord Krishna .On the stage are Umaji and her dancers .In the picture are Mamta Sharma ,chairman of NCW accompanied by Kavita Ashok .
